I bought there newest one, don't ask me the name though. It's the best record Paradise Lost never made hehehe.MacMoney wrote:Which one did you get and how did you like it?Someone Far Beyond wrote:the last cd I bought was by a finnish band called Rapture. Apart from that I didn't buy much. I get everything for free anyways.
Seriously, I like it. It has the same desolate atmosphere that made records like Gothic and Icon so memorable. The singing is great too, especially the one with the really low grunt. The only thing I don't like is the lack of variation in the tempo's. Most of the songs go on at the same pace, with the exception of the last song. A few slower songs would've been better for variation's sake.
But apart from that it's a cool cd.

They say that there's a broken light for every heart on Broadway.
They say that life's a game, then they take the board away.
They give you masks and costumes and an outline of the story
Then leave you all to improvise their vicious cabaret...
Still the goddamn Batman.

Blind Guardian - Battalions of Fear (now I only need FtB for their full discography...)
Genesis - Selling England by the Pound (Hansi's recommendation
)
Both are really good albums
BoF is better than I thought...
And you can't go wrong with Hansi's recommendations

I personally couldn't live without Nevermore's DNB.
It is so amazing.
