I just found on a ticket service site. it seems it was an official promo picture.... but well not my taste at all. Although it deals a bit with "Andre is a hologram"-thing

Sorry about my bad english, but the good one is on vacation!

Aaaand... if it's official, it can't be recent. That's not a recent picture of Hansi... but Frederik is there... Ahhh, mindfuck.
I can't think of anything clever to put here.

Don't really know if it is official, but at the ticket service they normally use just official pictures (the rest are from the ATITM photo session, that's why Hansi still has long hair)

Hansi didn't have hair that long while Fred was in the band, so it can hardly be official^^

I don't actually care if it's official or not, I just think it's the most amazing thing my eyes have ever seen.
I can't think of anything clever to put here.

What's the meaning behind this, if there is any? This sci-fi thing feels freaky!!!

I just hope the band has nothing to do with it...

I'm 99 % sure that this have nothing to do with the band...I remeber an interview where Hansi said that no kind of scient fiction will fit to the band, which is the absolute truth

Hmm now I'm curious as to what BG would sound like if they took more of a sci fi direction with their next album as opposed to fantasy
would probably be super kickass

They should do some songs on dystopian sci-fi such as 1984 and Fahrenheit 451. I definitely see potential there.

I think that'd be a good place for them to explore. They've done a lot of straight-up fantasy themes for a long time, sci-fi would be cool to see.
I can't think of anything clever to put here.

as long as it isn't Star Wars/Trek.

I'm confused now. This "Blind Matrix" picture is extremely bizarre!!! But I must confess it's interesting to think about it. A new approach would be nice, considering Blind Guardian's history and experience. Probably,
would be really super kickass

I think scifi won't be a problem for Blind Guardian, it's just applying the Blind Guardian lyrical style to sci-fi. I mean, I don't mind Time What is Time at all. If it happens, it won't be some sudden change in lyrical direction or anything. After all, Hansi manages to evoke emotions mainly through the way of his singing and less so through their meaning. Of course the latter further boosts the effect, after one spends the time to study the lyrics etc.

The only sci-fi themed songs (that acutally sounded sci fi) that blind guardian has ever done were Tommyknockers and Altair 4, so it wouldnt be like they are coming into completely uncharted territory

Hansi already was Imperator Palpatine in/on Solar Fragment's song "Inside the circle", so why not?

He should grow his hair back. Screw being mature and keeping it off..hes to awesome and legendary to be a short-hair. Thats right..short-hair. Even Angus Young, or Lemmy keeps what hair they can growing.
