Hm, God is right for once.
You charge each other for the time and breath it takes to say 'good morning',

Something a political science professor said yesterday stuck in my mind:
While Bush was a target to project everything bad about
USAmerica onto, Obama gets all that's good about it projected onto him.
In some way I feel that this election is too good to be true, that something is wrong that we just haven't noticed yet, but I sure hope there isn't.
Congratulations for making the right choice.

i'm just happy there's a BBP american history.
BBP stands for Big Black President and it means that racist bastards can finally retire. they've not only lost the battle, they lost the war. time to round up their little devilspawn children and move to the north pole, where it's all white or just a hueish shade of blue.

Congratulations America! You wrote history, once again!

Now use these 4 years for good and show everyone that you can!

Congatulations... I'm quite happy for the whole world...

Barak Obama is still a Politician, and not the Messiah, and nothing make us sure he's the man who can bring back the most powerful nation to the early roots of its Idealism, and thus gift to the world the REAL USamerican way to progress...

But still he's black, and he says he's strongly supporting gays and straights and so on... It's a signal, at least... Maybe Bush was a 'necessary evil' or maybe Lehman Bros crack was (along with being the cause of the probable crack of the software house i work for: i'm one of the first persons i know REALLY bearing this (up-to-now) Virtual Crysis) but USA came out seemingly more 'mature' and ready to drop the W.A.S.P. absurd mental asset which WAS (i make you sure, here in italy at least) the 'visible leading philosophy' of US deeds out of National Bourdens.

We stared at history, tonight... I hope it will not just reduce to a 'first black president of USA' line on Guinness Book

Anyway, just to underline it: i'm really really happy. Amerika is closer even to a 'Socialist' like me, now (at least for a couple of hours :D)

Since Hussein will be telling us all where we can work soon, maybe he can get me out of the refinery. Awwrighty! The Socialist States of America are gonna rock! Share the wealth, baby. Maybe he can share some of his wealth with me.

If the rest of the world is clod-hopping in their wooden shoes, ack-acking their AK47s into the clouds and voodoo-dancing in their AIDS-infected jungles to celebrate the results of this election, it can’t be a good thing for us.

Fuck him. I got more important things to worry about than Presidents, anyway.

On a downside, though, it seems California voted against gay marriage. :?

I just love how America is able to get so enthusiastic about it all, after the 8 years of Bushism, crisis, wars and stuff, get hope and fucking DO IT !
I'm watching the special edition on tv, and all these images of joy are just overwhelming. The people jumping and screaming and crying and smiling and all are so diverse and so happy !

He's indeed not a wizard nor a God, but the moment is historical, i'm so happy they managed to make it real, and not just hope...

We'll see how it goes, but at least, France should definitely learn from that, Mc Cain's speech as he congratulated Obama was good and respectful. I love that call for unity, and the potential this whole thing has...

The world elected Obama.

Someone asked how will it be the relationship with Chavez. Apart from the jokes that may eventually appear, Chavez is totally against Bush/McCain policies, and if Obama do manage to deliver what he promissed (and I hope he does) about taking a lead of government totally in the opposite of what the Reagan-era did until today, then he will be very well accepted by any popular government or democratic presidents such as Venezuela's.

Well, hell. But I represented our country on Monday, right? Before the election? In any case, it is absolutely true that anyone who didn't vote Obama is one flaming racist mo-fo.
Hope the world can now have some peace from your hatred.
Well, yeah...that would be nice. But to be honest, George W. Bush and other world leaders never took my calls, so my hatred was pretty much ineffective the last 8 years anyway.
