Touched by the Crimson King completely obliterates the eponymous album.

The eponymous album completely obliterates Touched by the Crimson King.

I agree. I like way more songs on TBTCK than I do on the debut.

Really? For me it´s exactly the other way round.
Free are those who walk away from setting suns
Free are those who laugh at chains that held them bound
Free are those who conquer in vain but won't stop to run
Battered and down you pick up your pieces
To rise as one!

I'm sorry but you cannot beat the mad gnome trilogy. YOU JUST CAN'T.

...Unless they make a mad gnome tetralogy *crosses fingers*.

Crimson King anyday

The self-titled had much stronger songs in my opinion. On the other hand, Crimson King had more enjoyable songs.
Voted for the first one, though!

Yeah, because we have a pretty sad song here, and you all seem so happy to me...!"

I will vote this month. I know I'll get the first album for my birthday, and I'll buy the second one too (limited edition). I'm very curious :D

I've listened to both the albums for several times now... for now, I prefer Touched by the Crimson King.

On-topic: yay, *uggs*!

I chose the first one. Everything up to Path of Glory is unbelievably great, but the last few are a bit of a let down for me. The second album's overall standard is higher, but there isn't that song that makes me go  like Blood On My Hands or Fiddler.
Kickin' names and takin' ass.

It was very hard to choose. Anyway, I voted for Touched By The Crimson King.
So out of nowhere it will rise...

Very hard to vote, but overall I see TBTCK superior than the first record. But both albums rule
