My Dying Bride- As the flowers withers...
Do you smell that?Napalm.
Nothing else in the world smells like that.I love the smell of napalm in the morning.
The smell, you know that gasoline smell, the whole hill.Smelled like...victory.

Iced Earth - Alive in Athens

After over a year of searching, if i'd known it was so easy to find it on the internet I would have done it earlier. Considering its 180 minutes of some of the greatest live metal i've ever heard its worth the £20 I payed for it.

Blind Guardian - Battalions of Fear
Blind Guardian - Follow the Blind
Blind Guardian - Tales from the Twilight World
Blind Guardian - Tokyo Tales
Blind Guardian - And Then There Was Silence

And last week I bought Queensrÿche's Operation: LIVEcrime DVD and I tell you, it's awesome! Best live performance I have ever seen. It captures the moode of the concert perfectly.

My last CD was NIME. My old NIME was lost at a party and I had to buy it again.
And I'm out here waiting
I don't understand what you want me to be
It's the dark you're hating
It's not who I am but I know that
It's all that you see

My 5 latest purchases are:

Empyrium - Weiland
Bauhaus - In The Flat Field
Savatage - Poets And Madmen
Savatage - Streets (shame on me for not having bought this one before...)
Ulver - Bergtatt (same comment as for Streets could be applied here)
You charge each other for the time and breath it takes to say 'good morning',
But the truth is slowly dawning -- things are getting out of hand,
We all pursue our shattered dreams along the roads to our own ruin --
Watch our empires sink and wash away like castles made of sand.
And so cast off the lies that are your lives and find the truth within.
-- Martin Walkyier

Why? It is one of the most powerful and energic albums I've ever heard. Perhaps not "Metal" in the "common" meaning of the word, but a GREAT album.

Eheh... well, I guess it's a matter of tastes after all. I can listen to Helloween (as you know  ) or BG, or Dream Theater, or (... add a name between LOTS of other Metal Bands)... and in the same time appreciate some different... sounds... like RATM or Korn (Yes, I do  ). Some of them for the groove, some of them for the technics, some of them... just because I like how they make me feel.
(IE: playing RATM's Killing In The name this morning while going to work... just gave me the charge to face the following 9 hours...  )
