I find it hard to take

So it's Lucida Grande, or Verdana for those who don't have Lucida Grande installed. (Lucida Grande is pretty much the standard font on Mac OS X, but I'm not sure if it's even included as a standard font for Windows)
I like Lucida Grande a lot, btw. It's very readable yet elegant at the same time.

does one have to log out to have the read/unread topics "reseted"?
it's still all orange here - even though i've let several times
i prefered when the post counts weren't shown, btw
and i know i have to get used to the avatars...but what's even worse is pix in the signature! (let's see if i can disable them)

the read/unread markers stay forever or until you read the topic or choose the "mark all topics read" option.

Cant you put in another board style, which is identical to "subsilver2", just only using the old font? This "prosilver" is even much more worse..........

Would be cool!

yeah i agree on that. avatars are nice, small and on the side. sigs are too right-in-your-face and it destracts you from what it is about; the conversation.

Just for the sake of clarity: no, I didn't threaten to ban anyone.
What I did do right now, though, was to disable images in signatures. (Actually the original plan was to do so already, but I forgot to do it at first.)

Then leave you all to improvise their vicious cabaret...
