This is a list of things that need to be done, and their progress. It will be updated regularly.

Things that still need doing:

  2. IRC chat logging bot [90%] (also sends logs to a website for all to see)
  3. Server configuration [25%]
  4. Database and object models [50%]
  5. Bringing basic website skeleton online [50%]
  6. Basic templates for designers [25%]
  7. Web-design plan [0%] (this needs to be discussed among our graphic designers)
  8. ...more to come...

Completed:

Nothing yet!

So how goes it? I think we are pretty much at the point that we need the site before we can start getting into more details.

am i right that i'm the only one willing to do some graphics?

i have several ideas, but before i make some sketches or more final layout graphics, i need to now in which direction i should go. should it be more like the old following page or more like the actual guardian site? my personal favourite is something that looks like drawn, handwritten and the like, if you get my idea. maybe with some dragons. or else.

what do you think?
YEE-HAW MOTHERFUCKER!

And I find it kind of funny
I find it kind of sad
The dreams in which
I’m dying are the best I’ve ever had
I find it hard to tell you
I find it hard to take
When people run in circles
it’s a very very...

I like the hand-drawn/painted look more than the new computer generated one, personally. It's got more character.

+1
also, I found some features of the old following page quite cool, the way how the navigation went, and so on. It had a pretty unique feeling, not only compared to the (old and new) guardian page
I, too, am a neat guy. And I, too, am just a love machine
Also, a stupid europeoid with snake primitive language

Agreed! :-)

Same goes for the album artwork as well - for instance, compare "Somewhere Far Beyond"'s artwork to "At the Edge of Time", or "A Twist in the Myth". Captures the spirit of BG better in my opinion.

I can offer my support (now i have a bit time left).
I can help with graphics, although i am no Photoshop professional, but no newbie as well ;)
I also know a bit of data bases (PostgreeSQL), PHP, HTML and CSS if it is needed
Sorry about my bad english, but the good one is on vacation!

Hey,
I might be kinda useless as I wasn't around when the Following was actually up, but I'm more than happy to do anything I can. I don't really have any specific expertise, but my father (who is no stranger to a bit of extra work) has worked his whole life in computers, particularly in databasing, systems implementation and making sure that web systems are functioning properly.

So yeah, if there's something I could do, say, and if not, then good luck!! :)
