Caught in an old cage
the system failed
built up on lies
now I see that I'm alone
in asylum's cage
I'm left alone

I'm alive my friend
I can feel the shadows everywhere
I'm alive
I left the shadows
far behind me
another one is waiting in the dark

That was missing from this thread ;)

They say that there's a broken light for every heart on Broadway.
They say that life's a game, then they take the board away.
They give you masks and costumes and an outline of the story
Then leave you all to improvise their vicious cabaret...

Still the goddamn Batman.

Yes, I essentially had to... maybe I should get ask Jason (the even almightier) could do something to fix the continuous influx of spambots once we open the floodgates...
You charge each other for the time and breath it takes to say 'good morning',
But the truth is slowly dawning -- things are getting out of hand,
We all pursue our shattered dreams along the roads to our own ruin --
Watch our empires sink and wash away like castles made of sand.
And so cast off the lies that are your lives and find the truth within.

Just sent a message to Jason, will keep you updated. Alternately, I may just try enabling registration again, but I fear this will result in another spambot invasion...

Man, what happened to all the regulars from back in the day? I was expecting everyone to show up again for a little while with the new album release, but the is forum is still practically a ghost town. A few new people, but barely any old guard. Or even middle guard like me.

This place really is a ghost town these days.

Well I for sure as hell don't, at least not anymore. Think I went to about 15 or so gigs in total, spread out over the years. The most recent being close to my home town, in 2013. And unless they hit that venue again in the near future I think it may well have been my very last BG concert. For me going to a BG gig nowadays is much like visiting an old friend. At first you're overly excited to meet again, but soon after the whole thing goes stale and that's when you remember why you're not seeing each other that often anymore

Still a great band though, certainly not arguing that.

Too bad more bard's wouldn't come here when they drink their coffee to talk about Guardian, not always stuff to talk about but the band is generally on my mind! Specially just before another tour begins. Having said that I hope they change up the merch for the Imaginations tour. I assume they will still have BTRM stuff but some Imaginations longsleeves and t shirts would be awesome! Come to think of it any album on shirt would sell, preferably the 80's/90's albums. 8)
