come on people, riddle me this!! We should be preparing or at least make a crude planning / headcount if we want to make this work.

Who is available for a meeting in the period of the 22nd to 30th of June?

Fine with me except for the fact that 21-22 June is Dokk'em! (So 24-30 is fine, 23 is a bit tricky, and 22 impossible)
You charge each other for the time and breath it takes to say 'good morning',
But the truth is slowly dawning -- things are getting out of hand,
We all pursue our shattered dreams along the roads to our own ruin --
Watch our empires sink and wash away like castles made of sand.
And so cast off the lies that are your lives and find the truth within.

in theory 24-30 is fine by me, although it does depend a bit on how much work I have left to do for my thesis, for which the deadline is the week after... so there is a chance that I can't make it.

for me would be fine, but June is holiday period, I must hear colleagues if someone has already planned something... let's say 100% purpose, 75% chance

So far, I should find time then.

So, any further news? Regarding location or otherwise?

It's almost time and there is no location or further planning yet?

I'm sad to say that I won't be able to make it, due to the already mentioned thesiswriting for which the deadline is the 3rd of july. after that I'm available, depending on how expensive it is going to be... ;)

Well... How about September 21st/22nd - just out of the blue?
It's not THAT warm then, and the festival season is over. Besides, BG often like to start touring in September. So it would be almost fitting.

Sounds quite possible, and I should be able to make it financially as well, if nothing goes wrong and i manage to find some work...

It's possible that I'll be in Paris that week until the 21st (crazy Frenchies who let their conference continue on saturdays), depending on acceptance/rejection of a paper ;), and maybe even then I can depart a day earlier, but otherwise sounds fine to me. (If there's a forum meeting that weekend, I'll try to find a way and ensure that I'll be there anyway!)

Any closer proposals?
Anyone else who may give feedback?

I for one would actually prefer something like Firenze in stead of dutchieland... or maybe another place outside of dutchieland, since I won't have a proper holiday most likely...

Firenze?
Do you really want to visit Firenze???
Very bad idea, Firenze is very expensive, in September it's still too hot and sunny. It's true, there are a lot of museums, great scenery, art, culture and a lot of other things, good food and Chianti and good coffee to drink, but this should not make forget the huge problem of Firenze: is a city full of Florentines, and you have no idea how obnoxious, rude, sarcastic, arrogant and pompous are the Florentines. And besides all they hate tourists. If I were you I would think well.
Then, if you're really convinced to come here ...

Well, then you will have to keep us all save at your place, of course! And we're not coming for playing tourists but to gather once again.
So - how much of us can you keep?

oh, I don't have a big home, but I have a couch, a doble bed, and a big garden
(and of course an hammock and a couple of tents to assemble.
If you prefer, very close from here there's an hotel and a guest house, I can hear how much they costs.

i guess it would be possible to rent an apartment with a whole group, making it rather cheap...
On the other hand, a hostel in the city would be fine with me as well... I'm not too picky as to where I sleep
