Hi guys,

I'll arrive by train on Friday and will be at Alkmaar train station at 21:18.
My telephone number is + four nine one six three six eight two three four nine one
I'll bring along a mattress and a sleeping bag.

I have to leave on Sunday but would like to buy my return ticket on Friday as well, while still in Germany. So what's the plan for Sunday? Should I buy a ticket with departure from Alkmaar or would a different city be better? At the latest, I would like to reach the train at 17:42 from Alkmaar or at 18:41 from Amsterdam.

As for things to do, I'm open to everything, but am more interested in cities/the countryside than museums. But we should decide according to the weather.

about the museums. I'd really love to see the Van Gogh museum. Although, if it's too "touristy" I don't mind passing it by, I hate overcrowded tourist attractions.

Susan: I think we'll spend the sunday in the northern regions, maybe going to visit the old VOC triangle Hoorn/Enkhuizen/Medemblik. Though I don't know how long we'll stay on the road... All the trains will have to go through Amsterdam though. (Departure from Hoorn would be at about 17.50, arriving in amsterdam at 18.23)
But I don't believe I should decide for everyone, we're all in it together.

As for the weather: the latest forecast tells us that it will be dry (yaaay) and about 18 degrees, with a chance that it will rise on sunday and monday towards the 20 degrees (yaaay).

This will make the city walks and a walk through the dunes a much more pleasing thought ;)

I'm looking forward to it people! Already in a party-mood!

Hey all!

So when and where do we meet tomorrow? :) I'm looking forward!
You charge each other for the time and breath it takes to say 'good morning',
But the truth is slowly dawning -- things are getting out of hand,
We all pursue our shattered dreams along the roads to our own ruin --
Watch our empires sink and wash away like castles made of sand.
And so cast off the lies that are your lives and find the truth within.

No idea ! I'm leaving Paris around 8h30 so that makes me arrive in Amsterdam around 2pm I guess, maybe earlier if we drive well.

I'll text Steem when I get close, as I don't know either where exactly the driving people will drop me off, but I think I'm making a rather sure claim I should be at the central station around 3pm. Just assuming.
And if I'm too early, I'll try to get some shopping done this time !

Ok, so somebody died during the night and my drivers are going south to their family instead of heerschland.
I found another driver (a cheaper one, actually), but i won't make it until 10pm in Amsterdam. Good news being, he's dropping me at Amstel station so I'll just jump on a train to Alkmaar from there and join in for the partay !

I'm still waiting for a confirmation though. Hopefully this will work, there's no train under 130€ and I'm already sort of broke (joys of having a rent to pay). Else I'll have to find a drive for tomorrow morning but that would suck !

I just compared my route and your possible route. the only large cities we both cross are Amsterdam and - surprise surprise - Utrecht! And on the map it looks a lot easier to pick you up in Utrecht, since i don't have to go far into the city as in Amsterdam. If your drivers can drop you somewhere near the highway, i can pick you up there! :D

Edit: Best meeting point should be here: http://maps.google.de/maps?q=52.183675, ... 1&t=h&z=18 since neither of us has to go through Utrecht. It's the first parking place and road stop after Utrecht. And i think it will still be there, because cars need fuel ;)

I would have baked a pie in the extra time I'm getting today, but I still don't have an oven :(

Damn, I'm still waiting for a sign from the new driver. If he cancels as well, or can't take me, i'm fucked...

Naaa, Rieke, I told you, I would leave the couch at home and instead bring my bed. But that's fine.

I still have something like 4,5h to go. At work. And then directly off to the station and on to cologne. And then into the car. And then... well.... You all know.

Sarah: Good luck. The very best of it.

YEE-HAW MOTHERFUCKER!

And I find it kind of funny
I find it kind of sad
The dreams in which
I’m dying are the best I’ve ever had
I find it hard to tell you
I find it hard to take
When people run in circles
it’s a very very...

...Mad world

DONE ! I'm leaving around 5pm so depending on traffic, i'll hit Amsterdam around 10 to 10:30 !

Vero and Rieke : Don't worry about me, I'll just take the train from the station where he drops me, let's keep it simple and rejoice all together when we're all there !
