I have Pugs, not hounds. They think they are monstrous wolves though.

Ha, cute dogs! My pugs are crazy. They live to eat things that aren't edible.

I disagree. Both animals have their ups and downs. I prefer dogs but I also like a good, well mannered, cat.

After a long walk the hounds are down for the count!! Hollys on the couch and Charlie is sleeping in the sun light let in by the window! We have had BEAUTIFUL cool weather the past couple of days in Houston. Which is a blessing because the summer has been wretchedly hot!

I have a 3 and half foot female ball python named Juliet, a white bellied indonesian tree frog named Kirby and an old grey dwarf hamster name Grandpa Bitey! My next snake will either be a green python, red tailed boa or a albino corn snake.

cool topic,i have a dog, female, her name is Machine Gun and a cat, also a she, named Tigresa(i did not come up with that corny name, believe me,it was my ex)
both are around 2 and 1/2 years old and really do NOT get along,Machine is too crazy and kinda harasses cool kitty Tigresa by jumping all over her...since she's like 2 times the cat's size,i try not to keep them together at the same place when i'm not around.

anywhoo,here are some pics of'em
Machine http://c.imagehost.org/0761/machine01.jpg (about that thing she's wearing...it was a bloody cold day, despite the sun)
Tigresa http://c.imagehost.org/0920/tigresa.jpg

He's pretty old actually, about thirteen. He was feral for years too, outside all the time. His teeth stick out of his mouth when it's closed and his toe nails click on the floor when he prowls around. He's definitely a wacko ha.

I have a theory that laser points permanently scare your dog/cat! Tonight is the first night, that I know of, that Charlie and Holly have seen a laser pointer dot and Charlie is sniffed around the house looking for it. He's since given up and gone back to sleeping. But I think from now on killing that little dot on the ground will forever be his goal in life. Its pretty fucking hilarious to watch them chase that thing around!!

And I find it kind of funny

There are 3 cats living in my home... (I can't say that I "have 3 cats", "they have me" is nearer from reality  ).

Sleeping, eating, sleeping, sleeping... what a wonderful life !

I'm quite sure that the cat we adopted most recently call us "male food retailer" and "female food retailer". I may be in error, 'cause it's not sure he has been interested in noticing that there is a male and a female humans at home. So it's quite possible that we just are "food retailer 1" and "food retailer 2".

I like this topic because it reminds me of Savatage - Hounds. :D One of my favourites from the Gutter Ballet album. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jx3RfvY5hFM
You charge each other for the time and breath it takes to say 'good morning',
But the truth is slowly dawning -- things are getting out of hand,
We all pursue our shattered dreams along the roads to our own ruin --
Watch our empires sink and wash away like castles made of sand.
And so cast off the lies that are your lives and find the truth within.
