A small festival as FORTAROCK can have it's own topic too!

Fortarock: a 1-day festival in Nijmegen, the Netherlands. Last year it really rocked my socks, with an amazing line-up. This year, the line-up is a bit less amazing (I heard there where lot's of problems with booking agencies), to my taste at least, but the atmosphere is promising to be great again!

I'm personally looking forward to Park Brakkenstein. They sound like they're amazing.

I love how the worst band is on the top line like they're important or something

All the metal bands get smaller print, while the "metal" bands get top billing? Sounds like a pretty bullshit metal festival. At least this year.

The gig of Sabaton and Alestorm on October 21 is also described as "Fortarock"... is this true?

Yup, that is because Fortarock is an organization (of some kind) that organizes the metal-concerts in Nijmegen. And it is also the name of their festival, this one.

(and I agree with you all on the line-up...)

Got my tickets for Sabaton+Alestorm...

But there might be a chance there will be a few more bands, bands that might actually be listenable?
