The New Monty Python topic!

#1 Post by Joost » 06 Jul 2009 21:19

Sadly the previous one got deleted in the pruning, so let's start anew.

Flying sheep sketch:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CVJ-W6LioB8

Bon! Les wheels! Ici!
You charge each other for the time and breath it takes to say 'good morning',
But the truth is slowly dawning -- things are getting out of hand,
We all pursue our shattered dreams along the roads to our own ruin --
Watch our empires sink and wash away like castles made of sand.
And so cast off the lies that are your lives and find the truth within.
-- Martin Walkyier

Is there something wrong with me if none of those videos made me even giggle?

big bunch of BS.

There is nothing wrong with you, just another taste of what is humour. It took me quite some time and effort before i could see the details of the plot in MP sketches..

Couldn't say so. Can't find myself smiling, either.

They say that there's a broken light for every heart on Broadway.
They say that life's a game, then they take the board away.
They give you masks and costumes and an outline of the story
Then leave you all to improvise their vicious cabaret...

Still the goddamn Batman.

Wait a minute... we can include scenes from movies? I thought this was just sketches from the series. That changes everything as The Holy Grail includes probably the top 10 "scenes" (not sketches) they ever did.

He's not the messiah! He's a very naughty boy!
You charge each other for the time and breath it takes to say 'good morning',
But the truth is slowly dawning -- things are getting out of hand,
We all pursue our shattered dreams along the roads to our own ruin --
Watch our empires sink and wash away like castles made of sand.

The good Flying Sheep sketch
The other video left out the rest of it.
