Some bird pictures I made

#1 Post by Joost » 15 May 2009 18:11

Actually, it's pretty much my first attempt at bird photography, but I managed to borrow a good lens from my sister, and some of the pictures turned out quite nice.

No spectacular rare birds or anything, just a bunch birds that are quite common in and close to cities here.

You charge each other for the time and breath it takes to say 'good morning',
But the truth is slowly dawning -- things are getting out of hand,
We all pursue our shattered dreams along the roads to our own ruin --
Watch our empires sink and wash away like castles made of sand.
And so cast off the lies that are your lives and find the truth within.

Keep in mind these pictures were made with a 300mm lens, and most of them are crops. And if only you knew how many pictures actually failed because of me driving the birds away... :P

Sorry Joost but the pictures sent by Skyclad are just so good that theirs cant even challenge with them...

Personally I don't know much about bird photographing but I must say it's hard to believe that these are your very first attempts.

It's clearly photoshopped. The shadows are all wrong.

They say that life's a game, then they take the board away.
They give you masks and costumes and an outline of the story
Then leave you all to improvise their vicious cabaret...

Hey!!i got you!!that's fake!!!

you know why?
first of all the shadows of all other things tells us that the sun is about to go behind the mountains..the birdie shadow tells us that the sun is almost in the middle of the sky..
and secondly there is no way we can see it's mirror image on the water from this angle...

you tried to trick us huh you smartie hacker-photoshop-computerstuff guy.
