There's a chart on the wall at work where you can pick squares for a $2 each. Each square represents a week, and the person getting the week in which Obama is assassinated gets the money in the pot. All the dates before January 20th are already taken, which really pissess me off. I think some of the guys are cheating, however, stacking the deck, 'cause I've seen lots of pickups loaded full of beer and shotguns leaving towards Illinois lately.

Yes! Growing as a person is my first and foremost goal in this life! It's always about growth, about scurrying up the side of Maslow's pyramid looking for that self-actualization. Yes, that's me! I'm glad you picked up on that. Not everyone would, you know.

So…barely half the country voted for Bush for the last 8 years, and all the world hated us for it. Even though fully half (or more) voted against Bush (including me), you still reveled in U.S hatred because he slipped by. Now, Obama gets like 53% of the vote and you all suddenly love us to death! Now you’re criticizing your governments for not being more Obama-like?!? It blows my mind, what little there is of it. Dudez, in all these cases half the country ain’t on the side you think it is. Jeesh.

Good point, though.

Either way, I never truly counted myself as either truly 'pro-American' or truly 'anti-American', but let's just suffice by saying that I am a lot more happy with Obama than I was with GWB.

Obama won by the largest margin of popular votes of any president in 20 years. I look at it in a different way... pretty much the only people in the world who wanted McCain President are the right wingers in this country. So, worldwide, since 120 million Americans voted, Obama won the world vote like 5,940,000,000 to 60,000,000.

Also, Bush lost the popular vote to Al Gore one of his two elections, and even though both elections were pretty much 50/50, BUsh's approval rating now is like 24%.

"Ohhhh noes! Obama's gonna done did take my guns away, dagnabbit!". Pfft... they said the same thing when Clinton was elected.

Fucking christ, Jackson deleted me from his PlayStation Network friends list too. Deleted me from MySpace, X Box Live and PSN. Don't know why. Either he's really really mad Obama won and I voted for him, or he couldn't take the sarcastic jabs I was throwing his way in this thread. Seriously, that's like 3rd grade stuff deleting people like that. It's the equivalent of taking your toys and going home.

Hm, looking at his friends list he has just one friend on Myspace at the moment. Perhaps he just was in one of his weird moods again and felt like deleting stuff or removing all of his friends? It's something I think he's capable of doing, at least...

Anyone notice that you barely ever hear about Bush in the news anymore? All the political news is about Obama, and everyone's forgotten about Bush. I know I'm tired of thinking about him.

I have now decreed that this shall be the official topic to discuss anything to do with Obama. Whatever he does as president, just discuss it here.

So, this is happened now, it's history :D Obama IS president and Bush is a former president :D this must be like the WORST day in the history of racists, never they were dealt such a blow to their stupid and nonsense ideas 8)

btw, I just watched the video of Obama taking the oath...... he fucked it up!!! the judge or whatever said a line too long, and Obama had to make him repeat it... d'oh!

Nope. John Roberts fucked up. Obama was trying to repeat the first part, then Roberts suddenly popped in with the second bit. After that, the line he said was "That I will execute the office of president to the United States faithfully... " What it was supposed to be was "faithfully execute the office of president of the United States..." Obama probably stopped because he realized that Roberts had said it wrong. Roberts also apparently took responsibility for the mistake.

Yeah, meanwhile I read around more and got notice of how it actually went.

I bet there are kids in junior school that could do that correctly better than that judge did  how damn hard must it be to learn a couple of lines!?!?! at worst, read them from some place!!

Just a few hours into his first day at office, he's already taking measures to make it possible to close Guantanamo Bay as soon as possible. Great news! :D

"What's in it for me?" - Obama the antiperson

#241 Post by Hansi Smurf » 27 Jan 2009 21:07

Like the rest of the White People, Obama believes in a divinity that delegitimizes Men.

The President and his country play pretend and believe that Creator hast made greater and lesser men, and that a democratically elected President of the United States and his United States Armed Services can touch, talk to, outrank, kill or intimidate anyone they want to, for their own unique vision of the world, rather than recognizing the divinity of Adam, Tarzan, Indian tribe, whomever.

I pray that President Obama will reiterate a pro-ultrahumanist doctrine, and stop his meaningless competancy exams of both work and school, and play by the communist and digger ethic of total equity, total contientiousness, total humanity, releasing Charles Manson from prison, if he cares to be released, and telling Osama bin Laden on global TV, that he loves him and that Osama will not be persecuted by Obama's still-violent pretend authorities, should he come out of hiding.

Real authority uses speech alone to govern. The United States has always advertised that it will use real guns and real violence to govern. Hence, the United States is a pretend government, totally out of line with Universal Humanity.

You have a point.

It's going to be hard for Obama to be assassinated. He's the most protected President in history. It can still happen, but probably not. The car they rode to move into the Whitehouse was a custom made Cadillac that had 6 inch steel doors, 4 inch thick bullet proof glass and its own rectycled air system in cae of chemical/biological attack. When he speaks in public, he has some sort of almost invisible bullet proof glass that almost completely surrounds him. It's going to be pretty hard for Jackson to get near him.

but he has the advantage of looking completely inconspicuous within a typical american crowd.

The USA is haunted by the ghost of Kennedy. Everyone has this thing about a president being killed.
Anyway, a president gets killed only when there are big interests behind it. A fucked up psycho couldn't make it. It would be more like an execution than anything else. So, the enemies have already learned with History that when it comes to these great leaders, the man dies, the legend is born. They become martyrs and they can bother their opponents even more being dead. That's an old-fashioned technique.

I got me a stimulating idear: STOP BUYING SHIT FROM FUCKING CHINA. There's no choice. I cannot find American-made products; they just aren't there anymore. Everything in my house is made in China. MADE IN FUCKING CHINA. What're them poor people gonna do when all the US jobs are gone and we can't buy their shit anymore? I'm sure they're hoping Obama's fun stimulus thing works okay enough that me 'n Joe twelve-pack can at least keep buying Chinese toasters at Wal-Mart.
