Haha, what's wrong with redheads? I'm only staying with this hair style about four weeks, it's for a costume. Then it's getting re-dyed. I'm normally a brunette:

Australian beer...we have Foster's, XXXX and VB. All of which... :?
Just, no. Carlton Draft and Toohey's New isn't too bad though.

This thread is a bit slow, I'm new here so you should all post recent photo's of yourselves so I can put names to faces and such. :)

Anyway, I went to Supanova this weekend (basically like Australia's version of Comic-con) 'cause I'm clearly awesome like that, so prepare for a bit of a photo overload (sorry, it was a pretty amazing day though!):

This is the character I was going as - Karin from the Naruto: Shippuden series.

Just being chill with James Marsters (bad quality is because it's a camera phone photo of the actual photo):

And then having a couple of drinks later that night:

...okay, maybe it was a bit more than 'a couple'.

I've been going through some sort of a makeover phase i think... Problem illustrated :

BEFORE
Image
My mom says i'm too big and could definitely try to be more feminine

AFTER
Image
Dress and make up. I get hit on by bums on the street and the guy who works at the cafeteria of my work. Awesome.
My mom still thinks i'm too big.

Yes indeed.

But that is not the bad part. What makes me sad is that these things just die and vanish. Somehow like a part from me is dying that way. :(

Maybe send a message to Annie? I'm taking a break there, but I'm pretty sure she's still around on Facebook.

But yes, I've wondered and worried a lot about this too. In the digital age, everything is so fleeting it appears...
You charge each other for the time and breath it takes to say 'good morning',
But the truth is slowly dawning -- things are getting out of hand,
We all pursue our shattered dreams along the roads to our own ruin --
Watch our empires sink and wash away like castles made of sand.
And so cast off the lies that are your lives and find the truth within.
-- Martin Walkyier

Thanks!

They came out like one at a time, behind the building by the buses. It wasn't long before Frederik came out. He stayed and chatted awhile. Then Andre came out after like 30 minutes. He was much less talkative, probably due to his English not being as good, but he was obliging and took lots of pictures (as evidenced above  ). We had to wait the longest for Hansi, perhaps 45 minutes or an hour after the show. He had to shower and do vocal warm-downs, and apparently he had a headache as well. So it was quite late at this point and he was in a hurry to get the buses on the road for a show the next night in Houston.

I did manage to get a picture with him though.

Awesome!! I have managed to meet everyone except Hansi, who hadn't come out within' an hour when I tried, so we had to leave. Got Andre and Marcus to sign my Battalions album though, do regret not waiting for Hansi but am probably going to try this year. Hopefully it isn't a cold rainy night :x
