Wielder of the Blade songs released

#1 Post by KrethX » 01 Oct 2011 18:06

Hi all,

We have just released the first two songs from our album entitled "Wielder of the Blade" and we're hoping you'll have a listen. :)

If not for hearing Blind Guardian's Nightfall album, our album would probably never have been started...so HUGE thanks to BG!

That acoustic opening riff sounded a lot like Nothing Else Matters.

They say that there's a broken light for every heart on Broadway.
They say that life's a game, then they take the board away.
They give you masks and costumes and an outline of the story
Then leave you all to improvise their vicious cabaret...

Still the goddamn Batman.

I've never notice that, but I'm not much of a Metallica fan. Respect for them, sure! I'm just more of a Megadeth guy. Purely coincidence, I assure you.

Anyway, thanks for the comment. :)

Nice music, strange (mediocre?) vocals but I can get used to it. That acoustic part really resembles NEM but still creates a great atmosphere, and the instrumental parts are usually way better than the verses (just the music, vocals irrelevant). I'd love to hear an instrumental piece from you guys.
power progressive metal: polimat
game music and soundtrack: dogac yavuz

Thanks for the feedback.

I do all the music except for the drums, and I also do all the vocal pieces. If you think my vocals are mediocre you should hear my drumming! :)

As for instrumentals, I did one a while back that wasn't related to this album, though I did use the same weather/storm effects in the beginning as I do in the song we just released from the album. The recording isn't all that great, but here is the link to the instrumental if you're interested:

Finally, the latest release from our "Wielder of the Blade" album is up and we'd love some feedback on it.

Thank you again for the feedback. Good or bad, it only helps us to get better!

Hmmm the intro is really totally diferent from nothing else matters...if that reminds it to you then 1.000.000 more songs could also do

i agree that the instrumental parts are better.
The voice needs some work on the high notes.
nice lead guitars ;-)
