Blind Guardian presented themselves on friday night well rested and in a brilliant mood. I wonder where they gather their energy - I didn't have enough for the whole concert!
It was a wonderful night and I am happy I had the chance to be there.
The setlist looked as followed:

Sorry for the huge size of the pics... Made them smaller now. Took me a moment to access a "real" computer to do so ;-)

Arthur - sorry, I didn't recognise you?! Saw your answer too late anyway, as I happened to be on the road for 5 1/2 hrs
Bad idea to get in your car friday afternoon when vacations are about to start. Normally, I would have been driving about 2 3/4 hrs. In the end, I went over France to avoid more traffic jams (without luck, anyway...)

Actually, I noted the songs, but as I saw that the stage hands gave away the setlists, I thought, it was easier just to make a pic!
The happy girl I didn't know. She looked so happy that I just had to photograph her. And as I forgot to ask where to send the pic... I published it here. Hope, that was ok, Dark Age? ;-)

A wonderful start into concert life with Blind Guardian anyway!! My very first one was at age 16 with Fury In The Slaughterhouse in my home town. My second then was Heavy Metal Christmas Meeting in Hannover - with Blind Guardian of course! But still needed someone to drive me there then!

But wait, just let me get this straight... Does that actually mean that three forumpeople were basically standing side by side in an actual crowd of probably a thousand people and we only find out afterwards? Shiiiiiit.
