BG appearence in videogame "Die Zwerge" ("The Dwarves")

#1 Post by Freak666 » 19 Nov 2015 14:58

BG will show up in the upcoming Game "Die Zwerge". There will be a special quest regarding the bards and also some of their songs will be used.
Maybe it will be not that huge thing as with "Sacred 2" but intersing nevertheless.

Nice video showing Hansi and Marcus playing the game and more infos here:

So, do you mean that there won't be a new song, composed for the game? :/

OK, i posted it in another thread already, but maybe people maybe won't look there.

Game will be out on 1st of december.
Besides some ingame appearence (quest) there is a new song with orchestra and heavy guitars on the OST of the game (track 2)
It's worth it! :D

I can imagine that some day BG will release the song as download or maybe there will be a youtube video, once the game is released (nothing official said yet).
If you can't wait you can get the game together with the digital soundtrack:

Very weak song.

It shows how good GP, ATEOT, WOT and The Throne really are. It tries to be epic but fails, very random song.

Not their best, but I still quite liked it...

I agree that the song is reallly weak compared to ATEOT, WOT, GP, ATTWS or the Throne, but lets not forget that its not a BG song - or at least thats what I heard.. sounds not that bad actually - its way more simple, has nothing to do with the grand operas I mentioned above, but its a catchy song - more like a Rhapsody Of Fire I have to say

"Written by Benny Oschmann and Julian F. O. Strzoda" (the first one being a young german composer who often writes music for computer games, the second working for the company that developed the game) and "intepreted by members of Blind Guardian", rockhard.de states.

I like the song!

But yeah it's important to note that none of it was written by BG. They just performed it.

Even tho they didn't write it I really like it, Hansi's performance in particular is stunning!

Epic and adventurous, Hansi sounds amazing! Marcus is awesome, too. So good to hear new stuff from these guys, even if it was composed by someone else. They sure know how to promote games :) .

It's a decent song. Nothing mindblowing though.
