The Ninth Wave guitar cover

#1 Post by loren » 18 Apr 2015 09:26

Hey there! I did a guitar cover for The Ninth Wave yesterday and posted it on youtube (I have recorded several covers including quite a few bands, besides BG) Keep in mind that I'm tuned at Drop A#, whereas the track's tuning is at A# standard. I did that so that I didn't have to tune all the strings down to that tuning.

Watch and comment!

It's really nice cover, I like it!!! I also liked the ending of the video with the picture of the mirror coming again :)

Awesome work! I like the 'detuned' sound. :)

Great job! How come you left out the second lead in the solo at 6 minutes though?

Also, any chance you could tab that since you know how to play it? You mentioned maybe someone could do it looking at your fingers, but personally I never could tell which fingers were actually pressing down when watching a video of someone playing. I'm sure people would be thankful if you did.

I'm glad you liked the video guys.
Led Guardian: I left out that solo part because it had some stuff that I couldn't distinguish, therefore couldn't find how to play them. At that part, the track has lots of layers which makes some stuff to be a little inaudible.
I'm currently on my easter break from the military (the time has come for me to "serve" my country) so I'm a little short in time. What's more, Ninth Wave is a big track and it would take some time to tab and ,with me being a perfectionist, it would be a hell of a job tabing all the instruments. Sorry about that!
