U.S.A thinking about BtRM

#1 Post by vlssstv » 27 Jan 2015 17:50

I have been hoping that BG become a band well known in the U.S. like megadeth is or metallica and so far the truth is still far away. Does anyone have any reason to think that this album may push the band to be recognized by a greater majority of fans that like the two mentioned bands or say dream theater fans. I have followed BG since they were Lucifers Heritage and realize the fame they have achieved. Still I want more to know how awesome this band is. ALL comments welcome thanks.

Won't happen.
In the guitar forum I go to (a very big one) US people is all about Periphery, Meshuggah , metalcore, Djent and latest fads.
I haven't been able to gauge interest from people that didn't know the band except one guy or two out of around 3000 average daily users.

BG are hardly relevant in Finland or UK, so even EU is not their big home except Germany, Italy, France, Greece and Spain.

They say that there's a broken light for every heart on Broadway.
They say that life's a game, then they take the board away.
They give you masks and costumes and an outline of the story
Then leave you all to improvise their vicious cabaret...

Still the goddamn Batman.

They are pretty big here. What are you bitching about? Is sold out shows not enough?

vlssstv mentioned big as very big, like Metallica, Maiden and stuff.
Having sold out shows doesn't mean much, you can have a small theatre with 3000 people capacity sold out or a 100000 people stadium sold only for a half...and it's different
