Playlist for the RJ, please!

#1 Post by XQuantum » 18 Aug 2011 04:39

So BG will be here in Rio soon, I'd like to know the playlist so I can decide if I'll go or not...

Thank you very much!

Geez, you're a real fan aren't you. So, tell us what songs would they have to play to get you to go? And what songs would they have to play for you to stay home?

I'm from Rio de Janeiro, borned and raised and a real Blind Guardian fan since i was 13.

I don't know the playlist ( i would like to know too) but i bought my tickets anyway! It's Blind Guardian! I was at the concert in 2002 and 2007 and now in 2011!

Every four years (more or less) it's Blind Guardian time in Brazil and for me it's more important than the world cup! ( AND HEY, I'M BRAZILIAN! hehe)

My girlfriend is a big fan of Blind Guardian so as i am. We hope that in the playlist songs like the bard's song, valhalla, Nightfall, skalds and shadows and war of the thrones could appear! But we love Blind Guardian, so.... Let the march of the bards begins!!!

I was fifteen when they played Welcome to Dying by the first time for me in 2002's concert. And I still have that memory fresh in my mind....

But i really need to hear The bard's song and skalds and shadows!

Well I am VERY sure you will get the Bard's Song, I wouldn't count on Skalds and Shadows though.

Well, how could you anyway? the show didn't even happen yet, how could anyone know, maybe the band hasn't even decided yet the setlist! :P

The site setlist.fm will help in getting a general idea of what's being played this tour, otherwise no setlist can be known until the show is played.

I don't give a (?) about the playlist anymore, haha!

I was wondering that coz I didn't have the new album, so I was afraid... What if I didn't like the songs? That would be a waste of money ( not a 100% of waste coz BG RUUUUUUUULES ).

And yeah, I don't have money anymore, that's why I was so worried.

I BEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEG, TAKE US TO A JOURNEY THROUGH THE DARK!

I'm dying to listen to that live.

Go to setlist.fm and look for their latest set(s).

I'm going to the Rio gig too. I'd like to see some more IFTOS there, but, fuck, IT'S MY FIRST BG CONCERT EVER after almost ten years as a fan. It will be worth every cent (btw I found the price very cheap for current metal concert standards).

Some motherfucker is playing with us...
Now I'm riding through the air
Going to where no one dares
On the way I cross the line forevermore.
For once in life, I do not care
Nothing matters, now I dare
On the ride I'll cross the line
Forever to be free

I was referring to the Chile setlist. That Rio one is obviously fake because the gig will take place tomorrow.

99% it won't happen this time around...
