Thinning out my BG collection

#1 Post by Webmaster » 25 Jan 2011 12:14

Hi everyone,

Ok, probably some people will complain about me trying to sell stuff on here, but I don't care. ;-)

I am in the process of thinning out my BG collection and was wondering if there are any people here that might be interested in some of the stuff? I will make some pics and link them here but I can already say that I have the Korean versions of all albums up to Nightfall also the Argentinian versions of the same. Also some cheesy, in my opinion, backpacks, wallets and cloth banners. I also have the BG socks from way back when.

Anyone interested or should I just put the stuff straight to eBay? ;-)

I'd be interested in the Virgin CD-versions of NiME and TftTW (European versions are welcome) and the singles from before 2002 (I've got them from AttwS onwards), if you want to sell any of that stuff.

I will see what I have. Not sure if I have any of the Virgin releases though, no extras at least. I might have the original NRR release of TftTW though. I am pretty sure that the versions of the singles I want to get rid of are not the Virgin releases, they are from Argentina and Korea (I think).

I also have multiple copies (real silver CDs) of various bootlegs.

Talking of bootlegs... Do you have that Nightfall at the Opera-thing, with that radio recording and the opening show of Freedom Call? I've been looking for that one for some time now.

By any chance, you have the orchestral version of Nightfall and the instrumental version of A Dark Passage on CD?

There are BG socks? I bought the BG bathing shorts some years ago and joked about it being the most superfluous piece of merchandise ever made, until they start making socks with the dragon tribal logo. We all had a good laugh but no one imagined that there really is such a thing^^

I have it, and seeing that I don't listen to cd's anymore, I suppose there's no reason to feel sad about letting it go. I paid 30 euro's for it. If you're willing to match that, feel free to pm me.

I still haven't had time to make any more pics, but I will try to get around to it this weekend.

I have sorted through the bootlegs that I have. Here is the list:
  • Tales from Far Beyond
  • Imaginations from Hamburg x2
  • Live Nightfall
  • Tales from the Dark Side
  • Woodland Rock x5 (one is signed by the whole band; Thomen-era)
  • Nightfall in the East
  • Live in Japan 1995
  • Nightfall in Rome
  • Harvest of Acoustics
If you really want any of this stuff just contact me via a private message. Keep in mind that I am in Germany and shipping to Europe would be around 6€ for one CD and 8€ outside of Europe.

More from me later.

Do you have any A Night at the Opera goodies?
Each step I take,
May it hurt may it ache
Leads me further
Away from the past!
But as long as I breathe,
Each smile in my bleak face,
I'm on my way to find
Back to the peace of mind!

Best of luck man, I start my new job on Monday after nearly 6 months going cap in hand to the dole office. Not a great feeling, just stay positive and don't let rejections (or no replies at all!) put you off!

These are on the Japanese release for sure: http://www.curufin.com/pics/nimejapanese.jpg

I've also got a bunch of BG stuff I'm thinking about getting rid of. I have a bunch of vinyls/picture discs, some rare CD singles and promos, cloth posters, and other things. Is there any interest in these here, or would it be better to eBay them?

Does anyone have The Bards Song single for sell that isn't remastered?

Is in with Bender on his plan
