CD Artwork

#1 Post by Nightfall » 02 Sep 2009 03:59

This is a drawing I produced a while ago while listening to the Twist in a Myth album so I
thought I'd add the album title and BG logo to it. I never really liked the computer graphics
used for the Album cover, the drawings and painting suit the BG themes so much more in
my opinion.

The picture is a bit rough as it's just taken with a digital camera, I don't have a scanner so
there are blurry edges and such :? I may do up a colour version one day though.

Enjoy

That's awesome! Full color and polished up, that would have made a great album cover. I like the touch of the old-style "s."

pretty nice
Now I'm riding through the air
Going to where no one dares
On the way I cross the line forevermore.
For once in life, I do not care
Nothing matters, now I dare
On the ride I'll cross the line
Forever to be free

Respect, dude, that's really impressive. And I have to agree, I like it even more than the actual cover. :)

Though I must admit at first I thought "geez, not again a goblin with pointy hat on a tree" ... until I noticed he's playing the dragon guitar. Nice detail.

Thanks for the comments and I'll get around to doing a colour version when I finish off a few other projects. I usually do coloured pencil works though I may try a bit of paint for this one.

Your very talented. This would make a wonderful album cover for BG's next release, If I were you I would forward this to them and maybe you'd be lucky enough to actually get a chance to draw for more of there albums :D

Really nice. It would make a perfect album cover for a band like Blind Guardian.

Technically very well done, but to be quite frank, if this became BG-Album art, they'd be as cliché as Rhapsody.

Impossible, no-one is "like" Blind Guardian, you can only be Blind Guardian
