I've read through it before. Absolutely brilliant, at least if you're at least somewhat familiar with RPGs.

Perhaps my favourite part is how Aragorn receives Anduril.
And The Lord said unto John: 'Come forth and receive eternal life'.
But John came fifth, and won a toaster.

It was fun for a while, but it keeps on portraying the worst of roleplaying with not a moment of something nice shining through. Gets tired soon. It's clear and we all know how idiots can ruin everything, but this is so klischee... and it leaves out a lot of actually prevalent stereotypes that you meet in more, let's say mature or dedicated groups, you know, those people who actually want to play. And the worst part is the semi-wise author's commentary at the end. Thumbs up for the idea, but nothing but spitefulness is not how to make something funny.

They say that there's a broken light for every heart on Broadway.
They say that life's a game, then they take the board away.
They give you masks and costumes and an outline of the story
Then leave you all to improvise their vicious cabaret...

Still the goddamn Batman.

actually my guys are dedicated, even the ones this comic takes the piss out of. But we still have those guys - the ones who get excited about their new dice, or the ones who just want to lighten up maybe ? Especially when one of them always takes about half an hour to decide what he's doing. It's not funny when we're actually playing....it's bloody annoying....but reading it....well I laughed.
It applies to LARP too which is why I liked it.
After all...it's only a game ! ( NOT real life )

I agree with t.a.j., it just gets repetitive, repeats the same jokes about Munchkins and iron GM's too often.

Darths & Droids does it better, but also too much points out absurdities in Star Wars we all know of. But some of the re-use of 'Nooooooooooo' is quite funny.
