So... are we still going to have the heersching Xanten meeting (without Drew  )?
You charge each other for the time and breath it takes to say 'good morning',
But the truth is slowly dawning -- things are getting out of hand,
We all pursue our shattered dreams along the roads to our own ruin --
Watch our empires sink and wash away like castles made of sand.
And so cast off the lies that are your lives and find the truth within.

I´d say we wait until next year, when Drew will be among us maniacs.
Free are those who walk away from setting suns
Free are those who laugh at chains that held them bound
Free are those who conquer in vain but won't stop to run
Battered and down you pick up your pieces
To rise as one!

Still, having some larger Dutch/German forum meeting this summer would be nice IMO, especially for those people (like me :P) who are not going to any festivals.

yeah it would... guess we just have to come up with ideas and then determine how realistic and how big that meeting will be...

And where exactly it should take place.

I´d suggest we save Xanten for the meeting with Drew.

I find it hard to take
When people run in circles

Well I'm not going to any (German) festival this year either but I think I have to skip any kind of meeting anyway... maybe next summer then.

Well guys, I conquered Ireland, England, Scotland, Iceland and the Faroe Islands. I have more than 6000 photos to sort through once I get back into LA and have some free time. A shame I couldn't get together with any of you on this trip, but next year's trip will definitely be on mainland Europe and will include at least a few festivals. :D

Did you do any couchsurfing btw ?
Dreamland turned to realland and we faced a new frontier
We lost the world
Sometimes we hold it but it's slipping away
When we add reality it doesn't taste like our dream

Well, it wasn't cheap, but it was definitely worth it! Hopefully my photos will be convincing once I get them sorted and processed :)

Yeah, I really wish we could've met up somehow, but it just wasn't to be this time around.

I did couchsurf in Limerick, Ireland and it was really cool, but the person I was supposed to couchsurf with in Reykjavik bailed on me semi-last-minute, so I stayed at a hostel on the Laugavegur which ended up being the best traveling experience of my life. :D

Yep, I had an amazing time! :D

Switzerland is definitely planned for the next trip. I need to get through the rest of Germany and France, so Switzerland should be easily integrated into that itinerary.

So now, what about the camping in Rieke´s garden? Are we still planning, or do we save that one for next year?
