I´ve got lots of work to do, but I´m still on painkillers, which make me sleepy 24/7...

As I know you will read that tomorrow morning:
Plants may produce proteins from other organisms (in my case it's a different plant). In some cases they aggregate and form protein bodies. Watching your stuff with the microscope you see little golden balls here and there (but only if there is a special marker fused to your protein ;) )
My problem is to get the little golden balls out of the plant cells. It is not willing to work and I don't really know why (and the folks from my lab I'm working in don't know it either). :(

HEUREKA!
I did it! I manage to extract my protein bodies!
A centrifugal step did not work until this morning because the bodies where still connected to cellmembrane and were therefore always down in the pellet and not in the supernatant (where they should be). My supervisor had a last idea and it worked.
Now I have to try out what happens if I centrifuge it now.

@Steven: Yeah, but it's actually great fun. I like the work. :)

I am so bored at work I came back to this forum after being gone for what, three years. And I had what was probably my first civil conversation with Joost.

Beat that.

made me think about a theory of some co students at my college.

They stated that it is not the next day when you slept fewer than 6 hours. That would mean i live somewhere in november 2008 i think :P

And I find it kind of funny
I find it kind of sad
The dreams in which
I’m dying are the best I’ve ever had
I find it hard to tell you
I find it hard to take
When people run in circles
it’s a very very...
