Wouldn,t say thats its a stupid question Bard 88 because I would also like to know the answer. Assume that Psycho 69 knows how many posts make up a page then after keeping a close eye on the number of postings he pounces when its time to TURN THE PAGE  If this is the case, its also proof that Psycho has to much time on his hands.
Is this your correct proceedure Psycho or am I wrong :?: :?: :?:

You are right, stuey! But I don`t watch this topic the whole time. It is only coincidence that I`m always here when there`s the chance to open a new page.

Nice pics, Aaron!

Great pics Aaron!! Here are my pics from LORD + NIGHTWISH Friday night at the Enmore in Sydney:

http://www.flickr.com/photos/7283364@N0 ... 838531520/

I think Friday night was the better gig over all - better support (LORD, compared to I NATION in Brisbane), and better music during the interval between bands (in sydney, they played Brand New's "Devil and god raging inside me" which is most awesome).

But I think Nightwish's performance was better in Brisbane.

Looking forward to IRON MAIDEN at Acer Arena on Saturday night now!!!

Think you,ll find Aaron that for the Sydney gig, cowboys was seated upstairs so his camera must have a strong zoom!! I was just off to the right of stage about 3 rows back so when Annette joined the others at the end going along the front of the stage handslapping fans, she was bending over right in front of me :D :D :D :D Got a great view of her lovely clevidge  Didnt have a camera with me so no picture guys! :( Thats why Cowboys will now ALWAYS watch them up close to stage :P :P

My latest development is that i,ll be seeing Whitesnake in Melbourne!!!
How this comes about is that i,m already in Melb from Sat 22 until Sun 30 March. Wanted to see them but couldn,t be done due to flying home at exactly the same time they,re on stage in Melbourne. Have just put my flight back until the next morning. Means that my Whitesnake ticket will cost me an additional $47 for the flight change. They better be good :!:
Now have Essendon game & Whitesnake concert on the same day :D :D

Was only thinking of that magical 1 year anniversary on the weekend to Haldamir. I also agree, my favourite two shows as well. Although I must confess that for me, Helloween are going to get close to toppling BG  Although I have seen a setlist from one of their recent Japanese shows & with a couple of songs unexpectedly (well, in my opinion anyway) missing, BG should retain the title!!
Also noticed that a few people have gone missing on here since Maiden! Still recovering fellas???

Yeah work has been nuts lately

Big couple of days coming up - Soundwave festival this weekend!!

My day/night is looking something like this:

2.00-2.40 DIVINE HERESY
4.00-4.40 BLEEDING THROUGH
5.00-5.40 STILL REMAINS
5.30-6.20 THURSDAY
6.55-7.40 SHADOWS FALL
7.20-8.00 SAOSIN
8.00-8.40 AS I LAY DYING
8.20-9.00 INFECTIOUS GROOVES
8.50-9.50 OFFSPRING
9.00-9.50 KILLSWITCH ENGAGE

A few overlaps - only major clash is the end of the night. Cannot decide between the 'spring and KSE :P Should be a heap of fun!!

And then Helloween on Wednesday night :D

Enjoy Whitesnake Stuey!!! I'd love to see them, but not at $100+ :P

Helloween only 1 week away! Starting to feel the excitement :D
They are playing in Jakarta tonight (fri) & the situation with the venue still has me dumbstruck! Originally they were scheduled to play in an indoor arena but the promoters were notified by police that they would have to hold it outdoors due to security reasons! Truly one of the most stupid decisions i,ve ever heard about anything!!!

Question for Aaron or Fil. Where is Red Moon again? Will mention it on the Helloween forum as there is a good chance that a couple of others on there will also want to go there after the gig on friday. Is that still the plan Bard 88? I plan to get to Young & Jacksons about 4 30-5pm. Hoping to catch up with some of my Essendon friends there as well. Just to piss me off, the Bombers are also playing on friday night. think its the 1st time that I go to Melb & the footy is not my top priority. Not flying home until sunday night so would,ve been nice if one of them was scheduled for saturday. Lucky the footy is only pre season!

Just getting my priorities straight stuey, need to balanace my funds, need to study a helluva lot, need to spend time with my girl, so instead of going to every gig under the sun I am picking and choosing. I thought, SAXON or HELLOWEEN. Saxon do more for me than Helloween, so the choice is easy.

Went to Soundwave yesterday - and it turned out to be sooo much better than last year. APART from the fact that it was 41 degrees celsius. Holy crap it was hot!!

I checked out CARPATHIAN, BLEEDING THROUGH, SHADOWS FALL, AS I LAY DYING, INFECTIOUS GROOVES and THE OFFSPRING.

Grooves were way fun - the smell of weed was most potent at their stage, 'spring played all the classics, but Bleeding Through were the highlight for me. Especially since I got the band to autograph my copy of THE TRUTH.

And their keyboardist Marta is seriously one of the hottest chicks in metal. And an absolute sweetheart too! I got Marta to autograph a poster for me, AND got a photo with her!!!!

I took a lot of photos, mainly of Marta, which you can checkout on my facebook:

This is the photo of me with her - one of the highlights of my LIFE :P

Oh Cowboys can I marry you?????
That is bloody fantastic! I rang utpoia a couple of days ago asking about any instore, but when they had nothing I figured that it would be unlikely anyone else would do anything so gave up on the issue!
Perfect timing as well as I planned to get into the city early on thursday.
Because you have made my day Cowboys, i,ll try & get a few things signed & one of them can be yours!!!!
Thanks so so much once again for that Cowboys. Wouldn,t have heard of it otherwise. I owe you bigtime dude!!

Almost 3am & I,m finally home from Helloween,s Sydney odessy!!
Oh what a fucking day!! Instore & the concert!
The good news is that Melbourne is going to be even better! Apparently close to 1000 have been sold! Almost double the Sydney crowd!!!
Really need to go to bed because I have to manage & try to get a few hours sleep before flying to Melbourne.
Will post more info once I get back from Melbourne. Plenty of photos taken by George (from the helloween forum) from both the instore & the gig which should be revealed on here soon.
Long live Helloween!!!!

As I thought it would Helloween,s Melb show kicked Sydneys arse!! Mosh pit going off at the forum where in Sydney it was only a handful of people (including myself) showing any major excitement! Starting to feel the affects of the last two days, but it was worth every minute! Would,ve been nice to hear a song or two different in Melb but hey, in no way can I complain!
Great to catch up with you Aaron at Red Moon after the gig. Enjoyed it very much been able to sit back in comfy lounges after a major gig with metal playing & beer in hand. Never saw Bard 88 after he left Young & Jacksons before the gig. Enjoy the show mate? Was looking for you there early but gave up!
Also mention that I,ve now got a Vanishing Point drumstick in my possession. George (my new helloween buddy) caught it but insisted that I have it because it was the first time i,d seen them live. Considering that hes a drummer himself I thought it was a great gesture. Actually came close to catching a stick of one Dani Loble.
Ah well, my two magical days of Helloween are now over. Back to the reality of the shit called work. February 16 & 17 2007 ( Blind Guardian) & February 28 & 29 2008 (Helloween) is for me what helps make life so great! If only it could happen more often.

Whitesnake in Melbourne is it for me, unfortunately due to my work situation having changed last wednesday, concerts & most other things I like doing that cost reasonable amounts of money have to be canned for the time being!
Trying to make a long story short, the work redundancy situation is NO LONGER :x :x :x I cannot turn back from my trip to the Caribbean in May so along with the trip to Broome afterwards that I have to now fulfill as well, I have to seriously save every fucking cent. Will probably have to cash in some of my work shares as well to ensure everything can get paid smoothly. It,s even got to the stage where going out drinking is banned!! All this because management at my work went back on their in principle agreement to pay redundancies to whoever wanted one. Fuck I hate their guts
Also gone by the wayside is a decent time during the 9 days i,m in Melbourne! Was expecting to do more than go to the 2 Essendon games + Whitesnake concert, but now looks like i,ll have to stay indoors at Brunswick way to much!
Flared up just before my 2 days of Helloween. Didnt let it get to me in that time because I wasnt going to have Helloween ruined by fucking morons. Now though i,m seriously pissed off!
Hope you all had a good day!!

That's fucking shit Stuey, you told me briefly at Redmoon. I know how much it sucks being owed money you wont ever see, from work.

When you come down for Whitesnake, I'll shout you a few beers don't worry ;)

That sucks arse stuey - but you never know, the opportunity may arise again in the future. And if it does, you'll get even MORE money then!

No idea what is happening with my work (STILL). Got a meeting with the company, EDS, who could be taking us over next Thursday. Day before Easter, so the fuckers better not have news that will spoil my holiday!!

Stuey - the Helloween autographs arrived yesterday!! Thanks SO much for that!! I will put an unsigned Gambling With The Devil cd in the mail for you soon, along with a DVD of a HEAP of cool stuff (Kamelot, Epica, After Forever, and of course Helloween's entire back-catalog!).

CHILDREN OF BODOM in late-June will probably be the next gig for me :)

All may not be lost on the redundancy guys! Legal action is now a possibility! Just so happens that at my mates wedding last saturday, was another friend of his that i,d met many years ago but hadnt seen since. Turns out that hes a lawyer who specializes in industrial law!! After informing him of my situation he thinks that its a winnable case. Few other workmates are also looking into it as well. How great it would be to stick it up those fucking cunts in court & win! Alot to happen though in the next few weeks so will see how things pan out!

Not interested in Bodom myself, but its great for those of you who are. Stuey, thats some good news i guess. I tend not to dablle with law and lawyers cause it costs to much money and they know how to screw you over legally. Not that I've had any really bad wrong-doings done to me, but I'm just sayiing. However, a redundancy payoput, especially the figures you were talking about, is probably worth fighting for, especially when you have an argument.

Yeah - I'm gonna skip Bodom too now.

Now that I know tickets are OVER $80!!!

Seriously, I was expecting $40-$50.

So I'll be saving my money for someone I haven't seen before I think!!
