I'm kind of surprised nobody's made a topic about this.... I mean, I'd imagine the BG forum to have enough gamers milling about for someone to take notice of one of the most widely anticipated games ever coming out.
Although I suppose it's possible they're all just too busy playing the game.
But anyways, am I the only one here who got the game? And if not, how are you folks liking it? Favourite class? (right answer: Witch Doctor) Had much trouble with Error 37? etc etc.
Oh and if someone wants to team up sometime, my BattleTag is Palantyre#1128.

Although I planned to buy Diablo after I have finished my finals I could not resist and bought it the day it was released.
And yea, I play as a WD and finished normal difficulty yesterday. The game is pretty good and definitely stood up to my expectations, though I have to admit playing at normal is really easy. I've just started playing nightmare and it is much better but there is one big problem - my arm. It hurts like hell so I guess I'll need to take a few days break and buy a better mouse or I could really get into some serious trouble.
But all in all, the game is fun and since you get a few new abilities every time you level up, you don't get bored.

In the process of playing through each class on normal (on the Witch Doctor at the moment) before I go through on my favourite for Nightmare and Hell. Having a lot of fun though.

that's 'cause Europe sucks and the people who live there are second rank civilians. But on topic, is that silly 'ole naughty Diablo still up to his usual mischief, or has he made a turn for ther better with this latest installment ?

Waiting for a working crack to play it for a bit, before it inevitably bores me before ever getting through the game only once.

the whole fun of the game is the battle.net multiplayer. if you plan on just single player you WILL be disappointed.
the mediocrity of the plot and dialogue might cause you to set your PC on fire and throw it off the roof.

I know. And I hate public multiplayer. People mostly suck.

on the contrary, most players i've encountered play well with one another. there's actually too little socializing going on to make it any king of an annoyance.
