I watched a couple episodes when I came across them by accident while channelsurfing. It was indeed really cheesy (YOU are the last dragonlord! zomg!), but still quite entertaining and had this certain kind of naive charm to it. I didn't get an urge to see more or anything, but I can see the show having fans.
And The Lord said unto John: 'Come forth and receive eternal life'.
But John came fifth, and won a toaster.

They say that there's a broken light for every heart on Broadway.
They say that life's a game, then they take the board away.
They give you masks and costumes and an outline of the story
Then leave you all to improvise their vicious cabaret...

Still the goddamn Batman.

Shit, I didn't even realize it was one until you mentioned it and I took a closer look... which is when I noticed the links.

First Cylons that look like people, now this? WE'RE ALL GONNA DIE.

I have to admit something... all this while, I really have been a spambot myself.
You charge each other for the time and breath it takes to say 'good morning',
But the truth is slowly dawning -- things are getting out of hand,
We all pursue our shattered dreams along the roads to our own ruin --
Watch our empires sink and wash away like castles made of sand.
And so cast off the lies that are your lives and find the truth within.
-- Martin Walkyier

Haven't seen this and prolly won't (looks childish and shallow to be honest), but I did see an appearance by Merlin yesterday in the tv series Camelot. Watched a double episode and I was pleasantly surprised by both the acting and the way the story unfolded. Merlin's powers in this series have only just begun to awaken, a rather fresh approach imo when opposed to the fireball hurling hailstorm evoking megawizard he usually plays on screen.

Camelot is cancelled, so don't hold your breath :) Merlin, on the other hand, is a family show, of course it will look childish. But it has a nice atmosphere to it and it's British, so it's by default better than Camelot. Also, awesome music.

Say what you will, haters. I loved the Merlin series. Yes it was a family show but it was cute and fun.
