What's that do then? I don't know much about the glitchers and hackers and whatever. If you read the Steam forums, you'd think the game was unplayable due to the hackers. I've encountered few problems in 100+ hours of multiplayer. Saw some rank hackers and once someone going like 80-0 and I figured he prolly had something going on. I just don't understand people who can't just play the game, but I guess some of the kids out there need cheats for their ego or self esteem or whatever.

If I'm enjoying my time with the game, I don't care if I'm 20-0 or 0-20. And I love the ranking, leveling and challenge system. It's almost RPG-like in a way. And idiots hack that on the first day to be prestige 10 level 70? I mean, what's the point? I guess some people get satisfaction from that. But for me the satisfaction is the grind, the continual challenge to remain competitive, the unlocking of rewards for grinding or special actions, and when that fades I'll stop playing.

But people get different things from games. Some merely want to hack it, exploit glitches and ruin the game for real players. Multiplayer's worth is always dependent on other people for it's value, and that's a precarious thing.

I don't really mind about the dedicated servers so much. I just wish IWNet worked a little better. The Xbox Live matchmaking and connection works faster and smoother. But I really hated the goofy-assed rules on a lot of the dedi servers in MW1 and WAW. Anyway..

Yeah, IWNet is a bitch, I've been looking for a TDM about 20 minutes, mind you that includes 20 minutes of being unable to connect to host and server timeouts, one after the other. That's why I prefer Dedi servers, you decide which map, rules, amount of players and even special lobbies for Snipers only or games like zombie and michael myers. Sucks that IW did this to us, yes I continue to play it, it's great. But it is disappointing that IW has no problem putting off quater of a mill potential buyers off the game, screwing themselves over and still not giving a fuck

I really like the improvements on the console version such as, changing hosts mid-game if the host leaves, and being able to mute assholes while in the lobby. What I hated about WAW was that not enough people played (definitely not a problem on MW2 it said over 400,000 people were online one time) and it always tried to play map pack levels that I didn't buy, just to be annoying so that I wanted to buy them.

It does seem that IW is beginning to abandon the PC space, or is at least making the attempt to consolize it. But it's a halfhearted effort. Matchmaking, game loading and host migration have worked flawlessly when I played on the 360, but they take much longer and often lose connection on the PC. Since PC game sales are such a small part of IW's business now, it's possible they might just save themselves the trouble next time and skip the PC port all together. I don't really care so much, but it does suck how so many PC developers have gone console. But that's where the money is, so it's difficult to fault them. Bidness, man, just bidness. Heh.

On PC, I never have to wait for TDM games, but some of the other games can be scarce at odd hours. But on the 360, there are always tons of all games at any hour. The teeming console masses.

PC would've had many many more players if it was dedi, but they were too lazy. Then after they get that petition with 250,000+ they practically say, "Fuck you, we're not gonna do a thing".

Meh...I find it impossible to get worked up about it. I get worked up about so many other things, I...uh...don't need this one. Why are you always trying to make my chest pains worse? It's a form of murder and I, for one, am going to look into the legality of it.

I'm thinking...yes, yes, I know...but it kinda dawned on me that the reason you have to wait 20 minutes for games is because you live way down there in hell. How many people live on your continent, not counting kangaroos? Maybe 50? No wonder you can't find anyone to play with, and HAL...err...IWNet won't let your ping pong ping over to the mainland where civilization is. See, there's a vast conspiracy to...well, I better not reveal that just yet.

Game on! Uh...whatever.

You're one rank up on me now.

I used the M4A1 for a looong time until I got the 2500 kill prestige challenge done and back to Fall camo. Still need another 100 headshots to finish all the M4 challenges, however. Jeesh. Now I'm kind of working on the FAMAS, but I change the perks and equipment around a lot.

I love this game, but the campaign was a slap in the face. However, the multiplayer makes up for it tenfold.

Indeed, been patched for a long time on PC. But as I've probably said, I'm into sniping recently. Aggressive style with Uzi as well. Will have a sniping montage up sometime :P

Probably because it was fucking too short. A lot of ppl complained that the campaign for CoD 4 MW was too short (and it was) and instead of correcting that, IW simply made the new one even shorter. That was insulting. Also the so-called "story" if there was one, was pretty much crap and not even well told.

Honestly, if it wasn't for the kickass online multiplayer and the Spec Ops, that game would have been a bad joke. A 60$ bad one.

Camp the spawn, and if one starts to bleed out the other one runs through the favela to lose the juggers so you can rescue your team mate

Nice, I rely on others for UAV, and I have a heartbeat sensor on like 3 of my classes, so I figure it's not worth it. I used to use care package quite a bit, but I don't like that it doesn't add to your killstreak. My spec ops stars is 60/69.

52/69 for me.

I like using the smaller Killstreaks because SnD is not a high killcount game mode. And I have 2 classes set for SnD, the one with bling has Holo and Silencer though. I don't really like HB Sensor that much (Also because everyone is rolling with Ninja and Cold Blooded in SnD(Which does render UAV useless to but you get lucky at times)) and as for relying on team mates for a UAV in SnD, well the amount of scrubs you come across it is just easier to have it on KS setup.

Tried the AUG in SnD as a ghost class and it absoloutely raped. I got a damn good 15-2, with a 6v1 clutch. I think I found a new best SnD gun

I MW2's online really worth it? I know it's great, but if I've already got BC2, Warhawk, KZ2, and possible getting MAG, would MW2 still be good enough to invest in?

To be honest no, if you're going to get a FPS shooter, I'd jump boat to BFBC2. MW2's online component is glitchy as all hell and can take up to forever to connect. As much as I like the game I do not suggest getting it. Very frustrating at times.
