Re: Osama Bin Laden Dead
OK, I've watched the video and read through the website. That was sickening. I don't condone these horrifying acts either. Anyone that revels in these actions can rot at the bottom of the sea as well. And you can superimpose the same logic you used earlier on this scenario. These murderers had inter...

I cannot watch the link right now but I will when I get home. I never said or alluded to Muslim’s being mindless monsters. Re: Osama Bin Laden Dead
It's not about remorse or about the fact that he's dead. Nobody, including TAJ argued that Bin Laden shouldn't have been killed. The fact that I'm opposing is the way it went down. Because what does it say about our society once we start accepting that people can be executed without trial? And more...

Re: New Rhapsody Song For Free Download
I think Rhapsody would appeal to me if it were more guitar heavy. The way that they write the orchestral stuff is almost like incidental music within the song but the parts are always right in your face in the mix. I think if these parts took a slightly more backseat role to the metal parts, it migh...

It's a tune off of their upcoming album. I found it highly enjoyable - nice and rough like Storm Before Calm and the second half is fantastic!

Listening now. This almost has a power metal feel with the chord progressions. I could easily hear Hansi of the old days shrieking over it. The vocals used though are quite nice and fitting. Very nice!

Re: Matt Barlow retires from IE
Jon is a control freak. Any failure to deliver what is "expected" of an Iced Earth vocalist will surely be because Jon chose/approved of said melodies and vocal lines. That being said, Jon's writing is pretty predictable as far as sound goes so I think we can expect something that is at the very lea...

No shock there, but I am curious to see the return from the concept albums to "hopefully" just a straight up collection of metal tunes. Could very cool. Or very disappointing. My two favorites: Deathspell Omega - Si Monvmentvm Reqvires, Circvmspice This is really the most "epic" black metal I've ever encountered. Rediculously vast and scenic.
