Re: 70's prog

definetly Focus... try their best known song "Hocus Pocus". One of the best guitarists at that time:

and if you want to try actual stuff in that manner, try beardfish - a very talented band

What do you think about it?

It seems more and more, that it`s a one-man-only-show, I hope that doens`t kills the magic of the band...

Re: Orchestral Project feat. Markus Heitz

I read all the 4 books of Heitz about the dwarves. In the fantasy-sector indeed very good. And you have to know: In the dwarves-novels there are the albae too, and they are very interessting... dark, mighty, grewsome, mystifying... so the story will be very complex, multifaceted and atmospheric... i...

I just saw that in late february there will be a new savatage-record... unfortunately just a best of album... now there are two questions: do you know if there are any new or not-puplicated songs on it? and do you know if there will be a farewell tour (as Jon Oliva long ago said the...

just read two brilliant books:

Klaus Mann's "Mephisto" (about an actor in the Third Reich) this book is so much impressing, so full of hate, unbelievable!

Franz Kafka's "Der Verschollene (America)", also very good

Now I'll start with Heinrich Mann's "Der Untertan"

Last night (between 10 o'clock and 2 o'clock pm  ) I finished "Lord of the Flies". It was really great, but also terrifying how these kids become wild men and grow crazy.

Now I must read a Classic. It supposed to be Gogol's "Dead Souls"

Now I'm reading "Robinson Crusoe" by Daniel Defoe...
some very exciting parts, but a lot of stuff that bores me
("only with god I could survive", "it was God's will..." blablabla)

After that, I'll read William Golding's "Lord of the Flies", supposed to be a very good book?! 8)

Now I'm reading "Oblomow" by Iwan Gontscharow. It's a classic from the 19th century, it's about a lazy man who never wants to leave his bed (and really seldom leaves the bed :) )

After that, I'll read "With'ch War" by James Clemens, the third book of the Wit'ch series.
