Re: NEW DOUBLE LIVE ALBUM IN 2017 AND ORCHESTRA ALBUM IN 2018!!

I'm actually not at all bothered by the video... I don't mind if it is snapshots from many concerts, It is not like it is going to be a live DVD, it is an impression from their tour to support the live album. I do agree on the audio... not only on the live album, but live in general, the backing vox...

Re: NEW DOUBLE LIVE ALBUM IN 2017 AND ORCHESTRA ALBUM IN 2018!!

In general I would prefer more new songs fixed in the setlist. When on tour promoting a new album I think it is very much justified to play at least half of those songs each concert. Having such a large catalog of classics makes it even more varied as they then won't be played every single time, but...

I agree with you... support act was horrible!! But BG played probably one of the best gigs ever... I love this venue because it is so small, it is nice and cozy with great atmosphere, perfect for BG in my opinion. Everybody was clearly there for BG and everybody was loud. Loved every second of it......

Ayreon live in concert 013 Tilburg

So, who will be attending the Ayreon Universe shows? I know of quite some forummers that they will attend (Nails, Curufin, Joost, taj, I.C.E. Motion, Suarius, Annie, myself) so, who else will be attending?
Beware, the first two shows are already sold out!

Basically all recorded songs which didn't make it to "Live" and "Tokyo Tales", which includes all songs played live from the last three albums, and songs like Curse of Feanor.
This added with a best-of selection of the other songs.

I do agree that they should include more of the newer songs in their setlists, regardless of how well a new album is received at first. Problem with a band like BG who have 10 studio albums (or more like other bands) is that they can't have all the classics in one show because there are too many of ...

In all honesty I've always found the food and drinks quite decently priced at wacken, especially compared to festivals here in Holland... Of course it is always cheaper to bring your own, but as far as festivals go the food prices at wacken aren't that bad imo.
