I've read the Marvel stuff when I was a kid. Mostly X-Men and Spider-Man though since those were the only two that got released here regularly for a long period of time. There were some Fantastic Four and Avengers issues at times as well and the Finnish X-Men did include some of the vol 1 New Mutant...

A joke or a band whose main member's sense of humor is a bit weird and tends to err on the side of subtle sarcasm and irony. Either way, Kanwulf does have his moments when it comes to musical expression.

are you all blind? Death Metal: BLOODBATH! If I want to listen to Nihilist, Carnage, early Grave and early Dismember, I break out the actual albums instead of this tired old rehash. as pagan/viking is mostly counted as death: ensiferum, equilibrium (one of my favorites), menhir, thrudvangar, XIV da...

Angelcorpse is certainly one of the best death metal bands, all three albums are superb. The later addition of John Longstreth(sp?) threw the band head and shoulders above most in my opinion. Pure fucking brutallity. They're a great band however, John Longstreth was involved from the very beginning...

I'm not talking about any of this abbrevation thingies. Swedish death metal is used most of the time to refer to bands like Nihilist, (early) Entombed, Dismember, Carnage, Grave etc.

Not that surprisingly, none of them represent the style usually referred to as Swedish death metal.

Well, let's start with black metal first: From Poland comes Rob Darken with his excellent band Graveland. If I had to name the best black metal outfit (in both senses of the word) out there, it would definitely be Graveland. Epic to the max with numerous folky overtones, I find Memory And Destiny to...

Wuthering Heights by Emily Brontë. A magnificent story but I'm not sure if it's really up to Anne Brontë's The Tenant of Wildfell Hall. Though they are pretty different, they're both rooted very much in the Victorian age way of ethics and social rules and criticize those.

A better question would be what book am I not reading since I have lots of books under the process. Seriously though, there are about four or five books I've read about half but since they were such a big pile of bore I discarded them. Among those are Douglas Niles's Fistandantilus Reborn, Niles's K...

Yeah, it's true that the songs tend to remind quite much fo each other but I guess they were aiming for that. I wonder if you've heard Katatonia's Brave Murder Day since that is IMO the closest album in sound to Songs for the Withering.
