Re: Will Markus Heitz's "Dunklen Lande" be translated to English?

Spectrum, I respect you man. I didn't want to argue with you. Post #5, extreme or not, was cordial. I disagreed that the employees were being truly mistreated, but I pointed out some other things I didn't like about Amazon. I thought we could find some common ground. It wasn't meant to be "me vs. yo...

Re: The Blind Guardian Phenomenon

Why would enjoying a piece of music ever be unintelligent? Irrational enjoyment is highly beneficial to the individual and usually harmless. If thinking critically about music makes it less enjoyable, why should an intelligent person do it? As I have grown older, I have learned to avoid reading neg...

Psychopaths among us 😬 Lets see you work the non-life existence of an Amazon worker and keep believing what you believe. Your coldness is not, as you think, pragmatist and realist, or due to a love of efficiency. You’re privileged and like the idea of people slaving to make your life possible. You'...

I tried to describe this phenomenon to my friends. They explain it as, I'm just a fanboy and force myself to eventually love everything they make. I'd like to disagree. I don't believe I'm a mindless fanboy. What's wrong with being a fanboy? IMO it is more mature and intelligent to be an admitted f...

I'll readily admit that I have little compassion for the employees. Extreme efficiency is a thing to strive for, to me. I see it as impressive more than anything. I'm going to wait a bit before making a serious reply about this, but good topic! I'm at maybe 5-6 listens. A few were passive listens. Currently I have found several themes/motifs for sure. The Blind Guardian Phenomenon

I've found that the newer Blind Guardian offerings require some effort for me to fully appreciate. It's slightly uncomfortable, but ultimately rewarding.
