ATITM: We toned it down, we had some new ideas, many of them didn't work out. But at least we tried. A few masterpiece songs, along with fillers. Allow me to vehemently disagree. Blind Guardian writes no "filler" songs. Sure, some of us like some songs more than others. I myself think that Propheci...

I've been listening to this thing since release and I still can't believe my ears. It's one of my favourite albums ever. It's fine the way it is! I don't understand why it is not appreciated that much among BG fans. "Fly" is one of the best songs this band has ever written, "This will never end" is the perfect opener (next to "The ninth wave" I must say now), "Otherland" is outst...

I'm starting to consider BTRM as the best BG album to date. Not in the conventional sense, which I don't think has any meaning even, but in the sense of exceeding expectations and delivering on every level for an album of 2015. ATEOT looks to me like a failure in comparison, and that says a lot sinc...

Well, Nightfall and especially Bright Eyes have more of a "bite" to them. Bright eyes features some pretty brutal Hansi vocals and Nightfall has some all out epic parts with a bombastic chorus. You are kinda right, it's harder to please me with a ballad. I guess this is why I listen to metal :O :P....

It's kinda funny that Prophecies is so high. I mean, it's a fucking great song, one of the best of the album, however that stolen riff irks me a little bit. I guess it proves that fans don't mind about rehashing a little bit if the results are good.
