Re: Live Beyond The Spheres New Live Album

The mixing seems more solid on the actual album and the backing vocals do seem more noticeable, oddly on some songs way more than others. Could be overdubs. Mi and Marcus needed their mics cranked up for this, especially due to the lack of any audio coming from the crowd - at least from my first listen without headphones. Marcus and Mi actually make this song live, with their backing.

It may also just be that they were never satisfied with specific performances of songs that were omitted. This is much more likely than the band just wishing to deprive the fanbase of new material, in my opinion.

Speaking of their working on music for "The Dwarves", I wonder if they'll repurpose an old song (see: Winter's Coming - a finished song omitted from BTRM) for this purpose? To be fair, the legend of the Holy Grail is interwoven with aspects of Christian lore. The phrase "hallelujah" therefore isn't at all out of p...

Hm.. The Throne would seem to be overall less vocally demanding than Sacred Mind, Grand Parade, and Holy Grail I guess. I echo most of these sentiments, but one thing that's often irked me about Mirror Mirror (and it's really no fault of the song's) is that during live performances of the song, the layered guitars featured in the chorus are totally absent. A number of their songs suffer, or are at least slightly hind...
