Amazing teaser! The first intro should be non guessable but the middle is I think ATEOT which might be a medley of the whole previous album. That part is a transposed form of control the divine. It is impossible to get a result like this without using both instrumental and normal versions of a song. All the details, reverbs are there. I'll try to make a "Sacred worlds" one since there was an instrumental piece I ripped from youtube :D

Sorry but who mixes and remasters these songs? "The Memories.." and this collection sound way terrible than the originals. I cannot stand listening. The vocals have no dynamics, they are over bright almost no mids. Drums and bass are overcompressed, they are booming. The overall volume is not stable...

You actually count the fact, that the bass is finally at least audible, as a con? The Band prefered fatter rhythm guitars for overall album, when adding a high volume bass it makes an interface of low end region. The ex production isn't the best but better than this new one. Ateot was perfect for me.

You are right the drums are overcompressed. Toms sound bassy and bass drum is hard to hear at very low end freq. Example : A voice in The Dark Time : [0:52 - 1:01] Those are bass Drum + Snare + Cymbal [1:01 - 1:03 ] 3 different Toms sequential [1:03 - .... ] Tom + Bass drum same time

Well for metal genre almost every band compresses as hell and clips all the drums' dynamics, even every spikes for the waveform are gone. That loudness level is too high to listen sometimes. But Blind Guardian was never pushing that far (even at remasters). Waveform for Ateot is the best I have seen...
