Honestly, I found it boring, tired and lifeless. Exactly the type of album I expect from JP in 2014. At least it's better than Nostradamus, but that's hardly a quality when the bar was set that low.

It's a case by case type of thing. Some bands are able to pull it off, some should be forbidden to attempt it (Metallica, I'm looking at you!). Some bands can write a few great epic songs and write some awful ones too (Iron Maiden). So my vote is NO.
