I, too, am a lowly American. I got mine at an independent record store. They usually have some hard to find stuff if you're luck enough to have one near you. If not, order off of amazon. that's where I've been getting most of my stuff lately.

I'm old too! I'll be 32 this month. You either get older or die, no other way around it. I've had too many near death experiences to complain about getting old. Besides, there's nothing like metal to keep a person young and pissed off!

I've never been a big fan of comics, but I do like some of the darker stuff. I've been getting into Vertigo's comics more and more. The V for Ventetta graphic novel is pretty good, and WE3 is a real tear jerker. It's probably the only thing I've ever read that made me cry.
