Re: BTRM is probably their best

I just read OPINIONS here. I think that giving the context, BTRM has the biggest number of "fillers" in any BG album, namely The Ninth Wave, Twilight Of The Gods, At The Edge Of Time and Ashes Of Eternity, which makes a whoooooping 40% of "fillers" or better, song under the BG average, imho. Re: BTRM needs to be better represented on the upcoming tour

They play what they are able to play. COF is too exhausting for him :( That's no excuse. Following that logic, they wouldn't play anything from IFTOS, which is an album where Hansi screamed his titties off. All he has to do is sing the song lower than the original recording, which is what he always...

I absolutely agree. It's time to drop all of those IFTOS songs from the setlist, and focus more on the new albums. That's why I keep ranting that Hansi and André should really sit with Marcus...and Frederik ( :? ) to write songs and not just do everything by themselves. ATITM: We toned it down, we had some new ideas, many of them didn't work out. But at least we tried. A few masterpiece songs, along with fillers. Allow me to vehemently disagree. Blind Guardian writes no "filler" songs. Sure, some of us like some songs more than others. I myself think that Propheci...

As the title says, I'm looking for a digital copy of "Doom", which was a bonus track on the Earbook version of the new album. Since I got the Digibook version, I still haven't listened to this song.

I could just download it, but I like to give Blind Guardian my money. :)

The only thing I dislike about A Twist in the Myth is indeed the way it sounds. I think it's the only Blind Guardian album that sounds bad. I can't quite put my finger on it, but there's just something about it that makes for an uncomfortable (for lack of a better word) listening experience.

As far as playing the really challenging stuff (vocals wise), Hansi could just to what he always does and sing it lower than the original recording to save his voice.
